All EHCP annual reviews at St Andrew's Academy are held as ‘Person Centred Reviews.’ Person Centred Reviews (Helen Sanderson Associates™) were initially developed to ‘transform’ the annual review process, a Person Centred Review aims bring all those involved with the child or young person together to create an action plan and gain the views and opinions of all those attending.
Views are gathered from all perspectives to identify what is important to, and for, the young person , now and in the future, what do we all need to know or do to support them, questions to answer, what’s working and what’s not working, and an action plan to achieve this. By working in this way, we can make sure that people are truly listened to and are kept at the heart of all decision-making; how provision is commissioned, provided and organised.
