Home/School Transport
At St Andrew's Academy, most of our students are dropped off and collected from school via mini bus or taxi. These services are provided and arranged independently by Derby City Council or your child's Local Authority (if outside of the City Council).
It is your responsibility as a Parent/Carer to inform Transport of the following:
- Your child being absent from school (and therefore not needing to be picked up)
- Your child returning to school after an absence
- Your child needing to be collected from school if you brought them in to school in the morning following an appointment or late arrival
- Any changes in your child’s health that you wish for Transport to have knowledge about
You must contact Transport with any complaints and enquiries that you have regarding your child’s Transport or Escorts.
Please still feel free to keep in contact with school regarding any concerns you have to do with school buses/ Escorts/ events that occur on the Transport journey but official complaints must be reported to the Transport Team.
If you have any queries or concerns regarding your child's transport then please contact them directly on:
